An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Children’s Residential Home Manager to cover maternity leave. We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and positive outcomes focussed manager who will continue to drive home, which is currently ‘Good’ in all areas with Ofsted and in line with the MY3 vision and ethos. The role is based in Ormskirk, operating a 4-bed home for young people with Autism, ADHD and LD. The home is a large spaces detached property, with onsite parking. We would agree a start date at the earliest for the successful candidate to ensure that a full handover can take place before the manager goes on leave.
As a manager you will receive ‘outstanding’ levels of induction and support from our highly experienced senior leadership team whilst maintaining your autonomy. Our Operations manager, Therapeutic Team and Directors who all play an active role within MY3. The team provides day to day operational support and ensure you have access to the senior leadership team at all times.
As a manager you will establish and support your team to achieve positive outcomes, whilst creating a safe, caring and supportive place for children and young people to live. Professional development – My3 provide high quality face to face induction programme, incorporating the integrated Therapeutic Team and Development pathway providing you with wrap around support. My3 also offer the opportunity to undertake qualifications and training including Positive Behaviour Support level 4/5 diploma, specialised training in line with the needs of your service.

Salary: £52,488.09 per year

Do you have a NVQ – Diploma level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children, young people and adult residential care)?
Do you hold a valid UK drivers licence?
Experience:
· within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children;
· worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
